My return from exodus was prompted by the discovery that I suffer from Coeliac's Disease (CD) and am now caught in an eternal battle with eating out safely.
If you google CD you'll probably find that there really is no treatment for the illness. A lot of people suffer from CD and are not actually aware of it. Take my case for instance, I felt sick for years before discovering the culprit.
It's not easy. You have to be on a strict gluten/wheat/yeast free diet (there's a whole list of things you need to steer clear of...fun).
One of the hardest things to have to readjust to is eating out.
I wanted to start blogging about my constant struggle to find CD friendly cafes and restaurants to eat at, which I hope will help other CD suffers.
My apologies to those outside Melbourne metropolitan areas as my eating radius is limited to the surrounds of my natural habitat.
